Ships?

Note: Personally I headcanon Olivia as aroace, so this section is purely for information purposes. That said, you can pry queerplatonic Axelivia from my Cold. Dead. Hands.

Axelivia is a ship between Axel and Olivia. This is because they are a dynamic duo (and the ones who got disliked by TellTale). They are besties frfr.

Oliviesse (or Jelivia) is the ship between Olivia and Jesse. The main reason why is because 1) they are friends and 2) Jesse is the protaganist and therefore is shipped with everyone.

Olitra is a ship, for some reason. They hugged once I guess. And Olivia was nice to Petra.

Lulivia is a ship between Lukas and Olivia. I think the main reason people ship them is that they have similar personalities along with the fact that she may be the only one of the gang to be nice to him in e1 other than Petra (determinant on Jesse being nice to him). Though I don't ship them romantically, I think that their relationship should be explored more.

Olivigaard is a ship between Olivia and Ellegaard. I do not like this one, the maturity gap and power dynamic feels a bit too big for me.

Character Analysis:

Olivia in the first episode is shown to be insecure about other's opinions, trying to keep Reuben in the treehouse for the building competition, and making pessimistic comments on the way to said building competition. In Season 1, Episode 2, she faints in front of her idol Ellegaard, which I think was out of anxiety about meeting her idol, though it could have been out of excitement, or a mix of both. Another time she is shown to be anxious is in Season 1, Episode 4, when she has a slight breakdown about the pressure of saving the world. In Season 2, she is shown to have raised her general confidence from both age and skill from being a leader.

Despite all her fears, Olivia is willing to stand up when she feels it is right. In the first episode, when Axel is being mean to Lukas (which is understandable because Lukas' friend group bullied them for what seems to be a long time), she stands up for him and tells Axel to knock it off. When Lukas offers to see himself out, Olivia says he can stay, and if Jesse causes him to leave, she will scold both them and Axel. In Episode 7 'A Journey's End', when Hadrian bribes Jesse to make a deal with him, Olivia discourages them from doing it. In Season 2, Olivia is given the shaft, though we still get a few scenes with her. In the first scene, when Lukas is reading his draft to Jesse, Olivia, and Axel, and he embellishes their tale a little bit, Olivia suggests that he should be truthful. Another time she shows her moral standing is in Season 2, Episode 5, she shows sympathy for Stella if her city gets destroyed (determinant), and is rightfully horrified if Romeo kills Xara in front of her.

Olivia is an intelligent woman, mainly about redstone but she is just a nerd in general. She (the writers) mainly use her nerd skills for exposition and to push the plot along. In Season 1, Episode 2 and 4, she uses her redstone knowledge to push the plot forward by telling Jesse what is needed to get something to do. She was shown to kill mobs with her redstone contraptions in Season 1, Episode 5, showing how she uses her skills in battle. In Season 2, Episode 1, Olivia is either Ellegaard's apprentice or the leader of Redstonia (determinant), and from that position, shows that she is competent enough in redstone to be considered a leader, or close to one, by the other redstoners.
